@Loren yeah that’s what I thought, maybe just some miscommunication as I haven’t been told otherwise. The hospital gave me a leaflet on low lying and it didn’t say anything on there about not having sex 🤷🏻♀️
I didn't even get given a leaflet or anything either! I think it's generally not anything to be concerned about.
I got a leaflet with dos and don’t about it. Not going to lie though - thankful that my husbands leaving me alone 😂
It could be that her placenta may be over her cervix slightly more than yours so her midwife has suggested avoiding it for her. But as a rule it’s not something you should have to avoid unless told so by a medical professional. I haven’t been told to stop and if you haven’t I wouldn’t be too worried unless you notice any pain or bleeding
I also have a low lying placenta and wasn't told anything, other than to come back for a scan at 34 weeks. Midwife didn't even mention it at all at my appointment. I can imagine they'd be more likely to suggest it if it was very low/covering the cervix?
