Yes, I had this 3 weeks ago, I was advised that your sinuses can be delicate during pregnancy, I started with swollen lymph nodes, which then ended up becoming tonsillitis, coupled with swollen/sore gums, i also had a headache and felt crap. I had a course of antibiotics and a scale and polish and took medicated mouthwash, and it's resolved now. Apparently, when pregnant, we are just really delicate. Maybe it could be something similar for you. X

@Rhiannon I get what you mean but I’m not pregnant I have toddlers, I’m on a course of antibiotics but I’m on day x3 it’s not feeling any better yet :( I’ve been using nasal cleanse ,spray and ear drops I got off the doctor also x Didn’t know a sinus infection could feel like this if it is a sinus infection x

Antibiotics could also be making you dizzy? Or you were dizzy before taking them too

@Nai I was dizzy before taking them too x

I’m a doctor. If it’s going up and down it’s not likely to be anything worrying. Just inflammatory. The scary lumps are hard and painless and don’t generally change size and you’re on antibiotics so doctors must think it’s infection related. It should go once the infection clears up don’t worry!!

@Naazish thank you so much I really needed to hear that The first doctor told me the same about it going up and down it shouldn’t be life threatening, But the second doctor 4 weeks later when it came back was checking my armpits for lumps too and didn’t really agree or disagree to me quoting what the first doctor said, so I was quite worried Hoping it’s some kind of sinus infection maybe, And tomorrow the dentist will be doing a full head or full mouth X-ray for me to rule out absess etc as since I quit smoking 2 years ago I’ve been prone to abscesses quite a lot since x

That happened to me a few years back if what you described is what I'm thinking I looked like I had a frog throat 😔 it did resolve itself on its own after a few days on antibiotics. Congratulations on quitting smoking 👏🏻👏🏻❤️

@Jessenia I don’t think it’s much noticeable as I am on the bigger side around. My neck, stubborn fat gain after last pregnancy lol I’ve been dreading my face swelling up but glad it hasn’t, hopefully the antibiotics do their magic and it goes away soon! Glad to hear yours cleared up on its own, lucky! Thank you so much! Quit smoking for my babygirl after smoking for over 14 years it really was easy in the end as I read somewhere it takes 21 days to create a habit so I kept trying to make that habit! ❤️x

@Naazish if it’s not went down after antibiotics what are the possibilities if it’s not hard and painless? Could it be wisdom tooth related at all? I’m waiting for an ultrasound next week on the lump And on a waiting list for a unerupted wisdom tooth removal also at the hospital, I had the lump (swollen lymph node under my jaw) x4 weeks ago and didn’t feel well, antibiotics seemed to sort it but x2 weeks later it’s back again and I’m on some different type of antibiotics

@Naazish I’ve found drinking water helps it go down but it’ll come back up slowly, is that a good thing?

Yeah it could be inflamed due to your wisdom tooth or any other infections around your mouth or neck and once that’s sorted it should resolve. Don’t overthink it the ultrasound and X-rays should help put your mind at ease!

@Naazish had my neck ultrasound which apparently doesn’t show anything concerning, still hasn’t explained what it is though as I just got a text back from the doctor x
