Nursery plagues

I naively thought that things would be easier this year as this is our little girl’s 2nd autumn/winter at nursery 🫠 But she got RSV on the 1st September. Literally, 1st of September. We’re all just about recovered from that and boom she’s had a tummy bug all this week. Is anybody having an easier time of it if you’re in your 2nd/3rd autumn/winter season of nursery? Is there hope for us yet? It’s such a killer as I’m self employed - it’s costing me so much ££ to not work, and preventing me launching new services as it just feels too risky! At least we’ve been through the HFMD and don’t need to revisit that 😬

Bad news for you - we had HFMD in May and last week as well. So far from nursery for 1 year my son has caught: roseala, stomach bug, HFMD twice, multiple colds and this week is slapped Cheek syndrome. I have a 6 week old at home as well...

Oh nooo I hadn’t realised multiple viruses can cause HFMD 💀🫠🫠 We had brutal autumn last year but none of us have been ill since March! I guess that was a lucky streak haha

Must be so stressful with your newborn too, sending hugs!
