Anyone else been through similar?

I’m 33 weeks pregnant with di/di twins and at my last scan they said twin b’s growth was measuring a bit slow. I’ve gone in for another scan today two weeks later and the discordance between the babies has gone from 1.4% to 11% and they’ve mentioned it could mean his placenta isn’t working as efficiently. Got to go back in another two weeks for another scan and they said if the discordance has increased or his growth still looks slow they’ll recommend bringing the c-section forward and doing it a few days after that scan. I’d be around 35/36 weeks depending when they can fit it in. It’s really worrying me and I was planning to work up to 36 weeks but now wondering if I should finish earlier. Might also mean the babies need some extra care/NICU time.

That happened to me but I made it to 36.5 weeks, baby B was NICU only for 24 hours only.

My di/di were born at 36w1d with zero nicu time! 35/36 weeks is perfect mama 🫶🏻 I stopped working at 33 weeks and felt like that was perfect for me

Don’t panic. Worst thing you can do. My girls were 34+2 due to twin B growth slowed down and we are in nicu and have been for 2 weeks they are amazing and they’ll do everything they can to help xx

This was exactly me. With twin b not only measure small but also him laying on his umbilical cord, causing drops in his heart rate, i ended up having them via c-section at 33w 1d. Twin b weighed 3lbs 9oz where’s twin a was 4lbs 12oz. Both spent almost month in the NICU

I just went thru this last wk with my MCDA twin boys. Twin B wasn’t growing like his brother and also his Doppler was inconsistent so they decided it would be best to have them out by c-section. I was 33w3d when I had them on Sept 9. Both healthy babies both in the NICU to help them with their breathing and feeding. Now it’s just a waiting game to bring them home and what holds majority of the babies in NICU is their feeding, getting them use to boob/bottle. But get ur hospital bag ready just in case! & all the best. Don’t over think it just trust the nurses and drs & you all with be fine🙏🏼☺️

Also happened to me but they told me they would have or deliver them at 32 because of it! I ended up having 2 growth scans a week up until having them at 37 weeks and 5 days!
