due date passed

thankyou to the person who suggested having a Colin the caterpillar as a treat to yourself during your due date! my due date came and went yesterday with no sign of baby. i had my first sweep after being so adamant i wasnt going to have them right up until the appointment then i changed my mind (which we can all do, very grateful to be supported by my partner and no pressure from the midwifery team) i had a reflective chat with my partner about how this day isn't going to mean anything to bab when they are finally born but it's been the day we've been counting down to and had wuch a lead up for us so it was nice to have a bit of a moment for it anyway. sending all my love to everyone on this journey still waiting for our September babies to arrive 💖

I love this idea, my due date is Friday and planning to make some Brownies and visit my grandparents. Baby will come when they're ready and it'll be wonderful ✨️ x

My due date today and don’t think it will be. Got a midwife appointment this afternoon including the RSV vaccine 💉 🫣😆 I will eat my Peanut butter cup Ben and Jerry’s later haha

My friends and I have a running joke that after your due date all crimes are legal until you give birth. Go heist an art museum!

One week today until my due date, so I took myself off for breakfast and an iced coffee. We definitely need treats to pick us up 🥰
