Growth scan
I have my 36 week midwife appointment today every time I’ve been over the last 2 weeks I’ve been referred for a growth scan due to small growth. However the last time I went baby was actually measuring big and I’ve been asked to go back for a scan on the 3rd of October Do you think if my bump is measuring small again they will send for another before that? Feel like I’ve been to the hospital every week for the last month😅 so ready to meet baby now x

They should stop measuring your bump now that you’ve had growth scans as it becomes inaccurate x
Yeaah I had the same. Two growth scans because bump "hadn't grown". She was above average and still had to go back for a second scan and consultant appointment and the consultant called me in and literally said "I'm really sorry but I don't know why you're here, unless you've got any huge concerns you want to tell me about"

I’ve just been to a growth scan yesterday as my bump hadn’t grown since two weeks ago?! I think it’s sooo silly this measuring the bump thing because everyone carries different so bump sizes and shapes will be different too. But I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry and it’s a good thing they check it out I suppose 🫣
