Schools

I have two children at different schools but they start at the same time! I’m currently trying to move my oldest son to the same school as my other child but they won’t move him and I’m worried about one of them being late and me getting fined. The school won’t help me and neither will the council! Any advice?

Do you have it in writing, that they can't be moved?

A lot of schools have a breakfast club, do either of your children’s? That could solve the problem for now.

How far in distance are the schools? My daughters finish the same time and I have my eldest go and wait at her friends house whilst I pick up my youngest. Are breakfast or after school clubs a option? Also depending on how far you are again the schools usually have a 10 or so minute drop off time if you know what I mean.

One school is northend/copnor area and other one is in portchester where I also live. Yes there is after school clubs but I can’t keep driving into town for the sake of £11 a day for just after school club. Breakfast club is more if I had that too. It’s too much to handle, I’ve threatened to take my oldest out of school and they said I’ll just get a fine
