Antibiotic question
Has anyone ever been prescribed and taken clarithromycin antibiotic?
Was it more effective ?

@Abbie is it stronger than amoxicillin? amoxicillin doesn’t seem as effective for me so was prescribed this new antibiotic and was curious if it’s good or not as not had it before
I don’t think so! But I know that if one antibiotic isn’t working they go on to try different ones, I once had to have amoxicillin, clindamycin and then Clarithromycin just to find one that works

I’ve been prescribed it a couple of times because I’m allergic to penicillin, but i believe it’s basically the same thing 🤷🏼♀️ does the same job
