Is it normal to want your baby all to yourself when they are born?

Im currently pregnant in my third trimester.. I have mostly felt alone/ not interested in most ppl energy. Is it normal to feel like when I give birth I just want to enjoy her and not have ppl all over her.

totally normal!

Absolutely!!!

I wish I didn’t have any visitors in the hospital and kept my lo all to myself for as long as possible. It all goes by so quick!

YES! Mine was very protected during pregnancy and after birth. My whole time in the hospital I just wanted to stare at her and 9 months later I would let her sleep in my arms all night if I could. I look forward to enjoying the cuddles all day and the ones to come!

Absolutely, and those are your instincts kicking in! You and your little one will need time to adjust, so the less people around the less overwhelming was for me. Specially because, they want to see the baby, and sometimes they do not understand what a mother is going through.

Normal babies are so delicate and easily sick when they are born and that’s something you spent so much time creating and went through so much for I think it would be crazy if you didn’t want that time with her

I was like this with my first! I didn’t even want my husband around I found him quite annoying actually 🤣 luckily he had to leave and I got 2 weeks to enjoy me and my baby. It was quite odd because before birth I couldn’t wait for us to be a family

Yes 🙌 put ur wants first everyone else can suck it up

Absolutely normal. I wouldn’t even let the nurses take my baby to get weighed, I had to be there. Mother instincts
