Small Belly

I had my appointment today (I will be 32 weeks this week) and they said my belly is measuring small but within the acceptable limits and it has grown appropriately since my last visit. Anyone else have a smaller bump? My son was 6 pounds 10 oz and they think this baby will also be small, which isn’t anything to be concerned about. Just concerning on my end.

I have been measuring 2 weeks behind for a while now, my OB isn’t too concerned about just because we have been doing monthly growth ultrasounds to make sure baby is growing as he should (so far he has!)

Fundal measurements and ultrasounds are never 100%. With my first my belly and her scans measure d2 weeks ahead from my 20w anatomy scan to the end (40w4d). They told me she would be 8.5-9.5lbs and she was 7lbs1oz. As long as you are growing you’re good!

I thought my bump was measuring small. I messaged my obgyn my concerns and she told me that based on my last ultrasound at 20wks baby was measuring at 56th percentile which is perfectly average. Perhaps your OB can take a look at your records and let you know what percentile your 32 wk/recent ultrasound said??

I haven’t had an ultrasound since the 20ish week one, but baby was 46th percentile so she isn’t worried and my belly is growing appointment to appointment appropriately. She said I likely just carry smaller babies and there’s nothing wrong with that! Just freaked me out to hear small belly lol. Everyone always says I don’t look as pregnant as I am.
