Anyone doing daycare?

What age did they start and when did it start getting better for them? Do they still cry a lot? Looking for reassurance but also real stories if it didn’t work out for you please

Following as I just dropped off my little man this morning 🥹🥹🥹

@Veronica Good luck! This morning we’re doing a 3 hour transition day so I’m just waiting and trying not to freak out

i started my boy at 4 months, he’s now 5 months 3 weeks. he never really cried much and would always smile at the staff when i dropped him off. he is now starting to do better with napping there! definitely if your baby struggles with naps at daycare i would recommend upping bedtime to make sure they get enough sleep and aren’t super cranky!

the thing that took the longest was for me to stop crying dropping him off! took about 3 weeks and i still cry here and there. but babies adapt super quick. my guy has a great time there and loves interacting with the other babies!

My daughter started at 12 weeks old and is now almost 6 months. She LOVES it. She’ll have some tough days here and there if she doesn’t nap well, but other than that she’s always really excited to see the teachers. It’s tough to leave our littles with someone else for the day, especially when we’d much rather be with them. Let me tell you though, the look on their face at pickup is so precious ❤️

My 6mo is starting in 2 weeks, and my toddler started at about the same age. When my older child started, there were tears at drop off for a few weeks, but he was always fine shortly after I left. Now he doesn't even say bye half the time. He just runs into the room to start playing! It gets easier fast.

@Veronica can i ask how’s your kiddo been doing with daycare now?
