Does anyone did an x ray during pregnancy?

Hi everyone! I’m a new here. I would like to connect with moms for support or advice. I delivered baby boy two month ago, but my anxiety didn’t go away and it’s became even worse.. I did an x ray of the foot early in pregnancy, I didn’t know I was pregnant and was sure my period will start soon, also I don’t think the image was taken was so medically necessary. My baby was born healthy, but now I’m worry about long term effects later in life. I wanted to reach out to moms who maybe had the same experience, or just for support, because I can’t sleep and constantly worry about the health of my baby..

Your baby will be fine :) I had the same thing happen twice I fell down stairs and twisted my ankle with my first pregnancy before I knew I was pregnant and my daughter is now 11 and healthy :) she just started middle school

Thank you so much @Tashina this is so reassuring! I just tired to blame myself and reading all those articles about an x ray in Google, it makes me crazy that I did something wrong at the very beginning.

@Anna you didn’t know and they give u the thing anyways and it was on ur foot

Yes it’s calming me down a bit. Thank you so much for your support and reply, I appreciate it!❤️

I got x rays done at the dentist early on in my pregnancy and my baby is totally fine! I wouldn’t stress about it momma !

Thank you @Estella !❤️

It should be totally fine! I’m sure they put the protection on you when they did the x-ray as a precaution. I had to get dental work done when I was pregnant and had a couple of x-rays on my teeth that were approved by my ob. The dentist said you get just as much radiation from your cell phone.

Thank you @Brittinie ! Thanks god they put lead apron on me, so I really hope it didn’t affect my baby🙏🏻

Also had dental X-rays...things are fine here. I was told all x-rays are fine since going more digital. In the abundance of caution, they will do a cost/benefit analysis for anything in the stomach/pelvic region while pregnant. The biggest risk is in the first few weeks (before knowing you are pregnant) and if there is too much radiation, it would likely be a miscarriage.

Thank you @Katherine ! That’s what I heard too. Since I did an x ray in a day before implantation bleeding, probably it wouldn’t implanted if severe damage was done.
