Pregnancy after a loss

I’m sorry if this question is triggering for anyone. I’ve just suffered my first miscarriage on the first pregnancy. It’s a lot to come to terms with but we want to try again straight away (when I’m able). For anyone who’s had the same situation, how long did it take you to fall pregnant again afterwards?

I’m sorry to hear this. My best friend sadly lost her first in her first pregnancy too and then fell pregnant about 8 weeks later. I guess it just depends when you’re ready to try again and how your body adjusts between the first and second pregnancy. Wish you all the best

I am so sorry ♥️ We lost our first pregnancy back in January. I allowed myself to have one period cycle as advised by my midwife and then we actually fell pregnant on the first cycle after that! So I got another positive test by February 29th. Apparently your fertility can be very high after a loss. I can imagine how far along you were can make a difference of course - my loss was at 5-6 weeks and with earlier losses your body can recover quicker to be ready to make another baby (but still devastating, so I am really sorry that you are going through this. It's not a club any of us want to be in ♥️)

I’m loosing my pregnancy this week . After bits of bleeding they said I wasn’t as far along as I was expecting , and there’s a pregnancy sac but no baby but I will still miscarry :(

I'm so sorry for your loss. After our miscarriage, we just let things run their course and got pregnant with our daughter the next month. No problems with this pregnancy and she turned two in June.
