I got my first scan at 7 weeks but be prepared to just see a blob x

I had scans at 7 and 9 weeks and loved seeing the difference, at 7 weeks it was like a kidney bean with flickering heart and at 9 weeks it looked more baby shaped. Beautiful experience 😍

You can go anytime after 6 weeks, however, not guaranteed to see anything! They recommend at around 8 weeks x

@Kiara Hi. What you mean you can go? I referred myself to Gp and still waiting answer from them. 🥲

@Asmar you can go private for a scan rather than wait until nhs x

I've got my first app with midwife on Friday. I'll be 7+3 will I have a scan then? Xxx

@31 no the NHS only give scans at 12 weeks unless they have reasons to give an early one x

As soon as I told the doctors that I'd miscarried my last pregnancy they moved my appointment from 10+5 to 7+3. Xx

I’ve got my first scan at 7weeks5days, I’m preparing to just see a blob on the screen but it’s for peace of mind. I think it will definitely help xx

I had my first scan at 5 weeks because I was having abdominal cramps and some Spotting so I went to Emergency department and I was referred to the early pregnancy unit. That’s where I had the scan If you have any complaint you can get to do a scan earlier
