Can I get a false positive?

Hi! I have been taking ovulation tests as we have been trying to get pregnant. Yesterday I hit the peak in ovulation but today I have got a faint line on a pregnancy test too - so I’m very confused! Can this be a fake positive? Has anyone got any thoughts? Thank you

Looks a little bit like an indent as it doesn't really look like a full line ,only way to know is to retake another tomorrow to see if it's darker or not x

Im not sure that’s a reliable line unfortunately as it doesn’t go all the way down the test - I’ve had similar and they’ve turned out to be indents :( x

I would try another test to see if the line is more visible. But there’s no such thing as false positive ONLY unless you are on certain menopause medication that could somehow interfere with the test. I see a lil of what you’re showing, but not a full line. In the lab if a line came out like that that, we would just retest and that one would be rejected

It looks like it’s partial, not all the way down. I’d test again to confirm.

Ovulation tests can’t tell difference between hcg and LH

Meaning if you are pregnant an ovulation test will show you are ovulating bc it mistake hcg for LH so if anything the false positive is on the ovulation stick

What made you dip a pregnancy test? Also.. did you set the tests down next to each other while it was processing? I’ve heard that the lines can run from one test to another
