@Alli they said it wasn't developed as much as it should have for how far along i should be. Should have been 8 weeks. Yolk sac was there but no heart beat. She said she wanted to give it another week as a week can make a massive difference
i was in this same position when i went to the ER for what i thought was my second miscarriage. as it turned out my hcg was very high because i have naturally higher hcg in my healthy pregnancies. they thought i was 6wks and there was only a yolk sac on the ultrasound and i had a SCH which was what caused the bleeding. these two things combined made them tell me to not get my hopes up and to confirm with my ob. thanks to me tracking my ovulation i knew i was only 5wks and at my appointment they confirmed baby was developing perfectly. now im 18wks and the SCH is completely gone. i dont want you to get your hopes up but certainly wait until you get confirmation before you freak. for me that week did make a massive difference and im really hoping it does for you too❤️
@Alli see I get totally confused as I wasn't tracking anything. But we had the sex ( haha) on the 28th of July so as far as I know I was set to ovulate around then but if I ovulated late I could in theory be 2 weeks less than they think I am. Idk
what led them to that conclusion? i tested positive even after i miscarried everything. hcg can stay in your system for a bit even with no baby in your body. i think a week after i passed everything and before i got my period i had tested negative at my ob appointment.
