Miscarriage or continued pregnancy?

I have two sons and gave birth to my youngest in May. I had a normal period in June but was late in July so tested. I had 3 positive tests so booked in to see a midwife. Before I could have the appointment I started bleeding, I had no cramping but it was a fair amount of blood. Midwife booked me in for a scan to see if I was miscarrying but on the day of I couldn’t make it to the scan due to no childcare being available last minute. I was still lightly bleeding and all my pregnancy symptoms had disappeared so the midwife said it sounded like a very early miscarriage and unless I started with pain or fever she didn’t need to see me. I’ve had no periods or bleeding since then but I know they can be a bit all over the place for a few months after birth anyway but I decided to test again and I’ve had 3 positive pregnancy tests. I’m now freaking out that I never had a miscarriage and have been pregnant the whole time or I’ve just recently gotten pregnant. I’ve been really ill for the last week and a half with sickness and upset stomach but so have my two boys and partner so I assumed it was just a stomach bug. I’m calling the doctors tomorrow to book in to see the midwife but I don’t know whether to push for an early scan as I might be anywhere from 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months pregnant I honestly don’t know what to do because on top of this my partner has said he doesn’t want a 3rd but I can’t have an abortion because I just couldn’t do it and he’s said we’re going to have to talk and look at options if I am pregnant so I’m so stressed
