It is nerve wracking but I would say trying to make at least one or two friends on the first day really helps you settle so quickly. Organising yourself really well helps you feel at ease because you’re not overthinking about so much and you can just focus on your settling week. Most importantly have fun university is a great opportunity for us to be ourselves outside of being mummas and we all need our own lives aside from our children. Enjoy and good luck x

@Ams thank you so much lovely!! I’m absolutely bricking it but I think it’s just the anticipation of starting rather than actually going 😅xx

Yes that’s probably what it is! Because honestly it’s so relaxed and everyone is adults there they treat you like one to! It’s much different from college or sixth form. What will you be studying? x

@Ams I’m sure I’ll be fine once I’m actually there, I think it’s just a bit of everything, mum guilt, anticipation and starting a new chapter of my life 😅 but I’m doing mental health nursing, what did you study? X

That’s amazing well done! And yea it will hit you some days and make you feel crappy but it’s all for a good reason and it will be so worth it in the long run ❤️ I’m studying occupational therapy x

Does your little boy already go to nursery? That helps if he’s settled already x

@Ams thank you lovely! 🥺❤️ I hope the rest of your course goes well lovely!! I keep telling myself I’m doing it for a good reason but I can’t help feel guilty 😅 and yeah he’s already in nursery but a month after he started it was the summer holidays so it’s like starting all over again aha x

Give me a message! Xx

You’ll do great hun and that can be a bit tricky but he’ll get there. X

@Ams thank you babe I appreciate it x
