Period after Miscarriage

I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago at 5 weeks pregnant. I was due on my period Sunday (CD25) which is my usual cycle. I started light pink spotting CD27 which lasted a day. I am now CD29 and the spotting has stopped and no sign of my period. I thought it might have been implantation bleeding but I have tested twice and both negative. I have also done two ovulation tests and both have faint lines. I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms so I don’t think I am pregnant. Has anyone else’s period not been the same as their periods prior to miscarriage after they have miscarried? My periods were very regular and consistent when we weren’t trying. Now that we are trying they are they are all over the place.

Mine were very regular before having my miscarriage, now it is all over the show I had it twice in one month. My dr said it takes a while for your body to go back to normal afterwards

I think it can take a while to rebalance. My periods also started acting weird and always being late when we started trying.

Your system basically resets after a miscarriage so you shouldn’t expect your cycle to be the same as before. When you have a period after a loss the first day is the new “day 1” of the cycle. Took me about 6 weeks to have my period after my loss and I didn’t ovulate until after my period.

It can take a couple months to get regulated again. After mine I had severe pain everytime for 5 months and now it’s back to normal

Implantation is pretty self explanatory.. my doctor told me dont test during implantation or what i think is implantation due to the fact the baby IS implanting and there are no hcg levels at that moment i was told to wait 2 weeks give or take.
