Free childcare
I’m due to start my new job this Monday but my DBS is delayed meaning I can’t actually start, my little ones also supposed to start nursery this Monday which I get the free 15 hours for because I work, is he still able to start? I’m absolutely gutted!

You have to reconfirm your details every 3 months, do you think you'll have started back by then?
They average the income requirement over the 3 month period (you reconfirm every 3 months) so as long as you still meet the minimum income threshold per week on average I don’t see why it would be a problem. You can always give them a call to double check for reassurance, once you eventually get through I’ve always found them to be friendly and helpful x
@Karen yes most definitely my DBS process was started the 30th of July and she’s said today he can still attend on Monday as planned

I don’t see why not. If you’ve got his place and everything’s been sorted with nursery I doubt they’d refuse your little one
