Child Maintenance Service & Nursery Fees
I get a set monthly amount from my daughters dad (she is 9 months). He sees her 16 hours a month /no overnights (his choice) and I go back to work in a couple of weeks. Now I've applied for UC and I'm hoping they will pay the up to 85% of childcare fees. I should mention she doesn't qualify for 15 free houses until January.
My question is, should my ex be paying 50% of the childcare fees or is this included in the CMS amount? (After the 85% paid by government or if they don't pay 50% of what I have to pay - which is 650 a month?)
If anyone has any links to online articles too or on gov website that would be great! I honestly don't see why I have to just pay and not him 🙈

Aw don't worry, I wouldn't of taken it that way! 😊 It's a nightmare isn't it, as he has his older ones during the week but won't have my daughter as having 3 is hard apparently 🙈 xx

Omg noooo my baby dads the same won’t have mine cause 3 is difficult but then tells me it’s not that hard I can do it myself 😅
