@Sarah I do love a nice Mushroom soup. When we were in the lakes we had a posh afternoon tea and they served celeriac soup and I was surprised how much I loved it

Not homemade (but I do want to start so will be looking up recipes to make them) but I used to live off a couple of different soups from Sainsbury's: Spicy Tomato, Lentil and Red pepper; Chantenay Carrot and Honey Roast Parsnips; Masala Spiced Cauliflower; and Lentil Dahl soups. I'm sure they'd be pretty simple to make at home.

Homemade chicken stock. Cook some barley separately until very soft. Once cooked add it. Grate carrots into stock, add thin soup noodles and cook for 5 ish mins until noodles are done. Lemon to taste at end. This is a simple Persian soup we make all the time. Being half Iranian, we make so many amazing soups, all really simple, healthy and filling

We roast a load of red peppers, sweet potato & carrots and add red thai curry paste, coconut milk and stock and blend 👌🏼 such a good winter warmer 😁

I made a chunky Mediterranean soup yesterday ft chickpeas, courgettes and aubergines with a tomato base. Chunky soups are underrated imo
I always make my own as I can’t have milk or cream etc due to being lactose intolerant. My favourites are: Pea and Smoked Bacon Vegetable (Potato, Carrot and Parsnip) Mushroom Leek & Potato

@Nicola I’ve never tried that one. I use alpro soya cream. Will have to give that Elmlea one a go I think😊 Pea and bacon is great!😋👌🏻
