Ovulation after miscarriage question…

I’ve read that you can ovulate as soon as two weeks after a miscarriage, but does that mean two weeks from the start (like a period) or two weeks after its finished?

Both? Hahah you CAN ovulate days after you stop bleeding, sure. You also can ovulate weeks after you stop bleeding. Everyone's different & there's no way to know for sure unless you track LH. It all depends on how far along you were, how long it takes your hcg to go back down, how long it takes your body to get rid of everything in your uterus & go back to normal size.

@Michelle thanks that’s kinda what I figured. I’ll just try and track LH x

I ovulated while I was still bleeding a week after a D&C, Google told me it wasn't possible. I was getting alot of cramps that are normal for my ovulation around day 14 I counted forward when my period would come & sure enough the bleeding tailed off nothing for 10 days & then when I predicted was my period. I think when they say two weeks they mean once bleeding has stopped.

@Emma wow that’s interesting. Had you done a recent pregnancy test or hcg check? Just wondering if you were testing negative before ovulating?

I was still testing positive for hCG when Inovulated (confirmed by ultrasound)

I was testing negative on pregnancy tests after the D&C. They didn't offer me HCG testing.
