How do you respond to the question ‘is this your first pregnancy?’
I’ve had two previous mc’s and my current pregnancy is the first pregnancy that has made it to the third trimester. I never know how to respond to professionals or others when asked this question. My husband says yes first pregnancy but I don’t always like that response because it makes me feel like my two pregnancies weren’t real.

I say first pregnancy that’s made it this far.
I’ve had 3 pregnancies. 1 C-section, 1 abortion and currently pregnant now. I always tell them 3 bc that’s what they told me to include in the beginning, never bothered me. And if it bothers you, say it.
I’m in the exact same boat as you. Stating it’s my first, erases the losses and pulls on my heart strings after. With medical practitioners, you could practice saying ‘first full-term’ which then gives you space to elaborate on how many pregnancies you’ve specifically experienced, if necessary.
