Do you get time to yourself?

Those married or with a partner, do you get some time to yourself where they look after the baby/children? If so, how often and what do you do?

Hahahaha between the baby and a toddler and working from home at the same time as looking after them time to myself is doing housework 🤣 even today I went for a shower and I was joined by my toddler....if I get any time to myself I read

Time to myself is in the evening after he's in bed 🤣 I just space out on the sofa or maybe read

Only if I specifically ask to do a certain thing.. I've had my nails done a couple of times, had 1 bath, and been to Aldi once yahooo 😂 x

I get an extra hour or 2 in bed. I shower when my toddler is in bed and my newborn feeds, learnt how to get in and out in 10 minutes😂

I've forgotten what time to myself is 😅 obviously I wouldnt change my little boy for the world but I definitely think partners think we are super women that can do everything with a baby/children in tow 😂

My hubby is really good. He takes our girl when he gets in from work (mainly because he's missed her). I can do whatever I want with that time but I choose to cook tea because cooking is something I love. I stick some music on, have a cold glass of 0% wine and cook away. He also does the early morning feeds & gets up with her on his two days off. I also can make plans for food with my friends etc without worrying as we're both as equally happy to be the home parent when the other is out having a break x

Does washing your hair and having a shower undisturbed count? 🤣

Super lucky to have a really hands on husband who finishes work and takes little man. He says little man is way to reset after crappy days work. I usually do house work to be fair but listen to a podcast too. He had him alone for 3 hours on Friday so I could go get a tattoo so that was great as well. It's vital to it working for us. If I didn't have that time then I can't give my son 100% I need the recharge time!

I barely even shower 😭

I usually try and go for a 30 min run or walk by myself twice a week. Otherwise it's usually housework that I do at times when my partner has our baby. I have to remind myself though that I should make some time to do things other than housework but there always seems to be something that needs doing

I get 1-2 hours a day as we are both self-employed business owners so he can flex, this is not including times we are both in the house and he has the baby too x

When she naps....I spend it cleaning or making bottles. I don't remember what time to myself feels like 😕
