Nursery size?

Our nursery will be in a room about 10ftx10ft. It’s on the smaller side. Was just curious if having a smaller nursery is common and if there are any tips/tricks for making it work. I know for a while the baby will be in our room.

Ours is way smaller than that. It’s very common in the uk for the nursery to be in the box room which are usually like 6ftx8ft. Just measure your furniture and where it’ll be placed before you buy anything. I’d recommend buying a regular wardrobe not one designed for a nursery because those are usually much shorter so you lose space vertically x

Mini cribs are super handy

That's not a bad size. You only really need room for a cot and then somewhere to store their clothes

A nursery doesn't need to be huge. All you need really is a mini crib or crib, a glider, a step trash bin that locks ... and probably a dresser. You can add a changing table pad to it, but once kid is past diapers, then you still have a useable dresser

Ours is smaller (as someone else said, common to be the box room). He has a cot, wardrobe and changing table in there, a rocking chair in the corner (will be removed soon) and not a lot of floor space. We made sure to get furniture where we can store things - baskets in the bottom of the wardrobe, cupboard under changing table etc.
