Single mums!!

Any single mums who have the baby 24/7 and barely any family around find it difficult and lonely at times? I love my boy to bits but I’m starting to miss being with someone just for the company? Little man’s nearly 4 months old and it’s just me and him 24/7

Hi, it was difficult for me when i had my daughter too.it was only me and her 24/7 and when my partner came home he just yelled at me and made me cry 😢it was horrible. But now im a single mom and my daughter is older and talks to me. Maybe u can go for walks before it gets too cold and talk to anyone u see at the park, so many ppl r lonely now, i wish u were near me ,I'd definitely visit u ;)

The weather is so crap at the moment I can’t take him out :/ I’ve had to cut contact with babies dad he’s not allowed to see the baby.. I literally feel so alone I know it will be easier when he’s older I just guess I’ve been on my own the entire pregnancy and even though I love having my little man a little adult convo would be nice! I do have friends but I feel like when they invite me with their family it’s like out of pitty :/

Hey! Just come to say you're not alone. It's just me and my girl too. Her dad and his parents and sister have no involvement through their own choice. My family is 400miles away. I have a couple of good friends but they've all got their own busy lives too. It's so difficult, I get what you mean by missing the company. I was saying earlier on like, it's so lonely. Every single night after 7pm I have to be at home cause my daughters in bed and asleep. I'm on my own every night with nothing to do and can't go anywhere. It can be so isolating and people really don't see the impact that being a lone parent has in your mental state due to the loneliness and loads that you've got to take on. Feel free to give me a message if you like. I've done it all my self, haven't heard form my babys dad since I was 17 weeks pregnant. Sending you lots of hugs xx

I've just had a look at your page, we are completely in the same boat. My daughter is 8months, I'm also doing my masters (finishing up my thesis now) and I'm 28 lol x

Sending you lots of love and warm hugs ❤️🫂 You can reach out to the National Children Trust(NCT) around you, attend Baby Play Groups, attend baby storytime activities usually organised in Libraries, plan outdoor play dates with new mums interested on this platform, go for walks, go to the parks, register your baby in swimming lessons and that way you learn, relax and meet other parents as well. Lots of avenues. Hope you find any of these activities around you.
