How much does everyone spend on a weekly food shop (including any Toiletries, household bits)

Not baby related, but im intrigued if, as a family of four, we over spend! Plus, trying to budget ☺️

We're a family of 3 plus 1 dog. I spend around £100-110 every 2 weeks but pick up fruit/salad probably every 5 ish days x

Around £100 a week for two adults and a baby but we often go back mid week for the odd thing. Anyone who’s spending £60-£80 share your secrets please! x

Family of four, we do Guosto which is £55 a week plus a food shop which is about £150 a week x

As a family of three we spend about £40 a week and then maybe every month we might have a £60 shop

@Amber where do you shop and what do you eat!? I need tips 😂 x

Wow...I spend usually under £60. What do people buy when they spend over £100? Not judging just can't see what I would buy for that much every week. Should say, family of 3.

Probably about £100 a week on food house hold items, family of 4 including a teenager. I also spend about £15-20 a week on school dinners…

Family of 4 ( 4 1/2 year old & 10 month old) plus a cat We budget for £250 a week

I am going back to work next week so I’m hoping the food shop will go down as nursery bill goes up

@Claudia we just buy whatever we want, we go with no list & I don’t meal prep lol

As a family of 3, we spend around £100 a week. We meal prep in advance including snack options etc x

I’m trying to keep it at £80. Just me and my son. It does usually go over, but will hopefully drop when he’s on cows milk

@Yasmin we shop at Aldi! We make a meal plan every week and only buy what we need. We make left overs and freeze them and then take them for our lunches the next day. We buy a fair amount of fresh fruit and veg. We go shopping tomorrow so I will show you what we do if you like?

@Amber please! 😊

@Yasmin aldi do 5 for £25 each meal does 4 portions and can add more veg should you want too. Really simple stuff, we just tweak it as we go. We were spending so much and are trying this now, hopefully bringing the costs down x

@Bridgette the problem we have is my partner is a super fussy eater and essentially will only eat chicken and rice 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ll have a look into this for me and the baby though as this could be a good option for us as I freeze us a lot of dinners when I batch cook!
