Tonight I'm doing a chicken balti (chicken, onion, pepper, jar sauce) with rice. Tomorrow gammon, eggs and chips if I remember to put the gammon in the slow cooker. Or fish and chips from the chippy down the road as its been closed all summer and I really wanted it 2 weeks ago 🫠

@Valerie so the worst meal idea then 🤣

@Shanice sorry hahha I always forget bc I am the one who is not allergic to anything 😅

Tonight I’m making Tator Tot Casserole

@Valerie I can see why you need meal ideas, I luckily don’t have any requirements for anyone so it’s easier to just cook whatever… there’s a recipe I do with quinoa and bulgar wheat, to look at you would think what the hell but it’s sooo good and my sons been eating it since 9 months, plus it’s one of those things you can put anything with, a bit of salmon, chicken, we don’t eat pork but you could do a gammon with it I’ll link it below (p.s. I leave out bits I don’t eat like the sun dried tomatoes) xx https://www.maryberry.co.uk/recipes/veg/herbed-quinoa-and-bulgar-wheat-salad-with-lemon-and-pomegranate

Baked salmon and creamy orzo with peas :) Salmon filets skin off seasoned with salt and pepper drizzled with olive oil and baked at 375 for 15-20 minutes Orzo- half an onion sautéed in a tbsp of olive oil with minced garlic. Add dry cup of orzo then add in 2 cups of chicken broth(low sodium) let it boil then bring to simmer and cook for 15/20 min/ when all liquid is absorbed (I use a small deep frying pan) once it’s been about 10-12 add a cup of frozen peas of less depending on how much you like them. You can also do chopped broccoli or spinach. After it’s done and all the liquid is absorbed add in a few tbsp of Half and half(can omit this) and some grated Parmesan. Season orzo with salt and pepper- I just do pepper since the chicken broth is quite salty even if it’s low sodium. enjoy!
