personally the 85% because you can apply for 15 hours free on that also tax free childcare you aren’t entitled to 15 hours free its either or

I think you can apply for 15 hours free and tax free (both parents need to be working to get tax free)

Just to add I'm not sure which you are better off as I was just commenting on the free hours and tax free but I imagine UC would fare better?

Universal credit is better if you're claiming funding and doing extra hours on top of 15 funded hours as they will pay up to 85% of the fees. Tax free childcare is every £8 you spend the government will add £2 towards that. You can't claim tax free childcare and UC but you can still get funded hours on top of either or.
