Ohh no, that’s “all children” from September 2025. 9 month olds can now get 15 hours and they are expanding it further, so children of all ages can get 30 hours. 30 hours for 3/4 year olds has been in place for some years already.

My daughter who will be 3 in March won't start until August 2025 - I believe they're entitled to 2yrs, so 25 - 27 & start P1 in August 2027. All of that was detailed in the paperwork as goes from birth month. I'm in Scotland, unsure if that is different outwith x

My 2.5 turns 3 in February so yes April is the date you can claim the 30 funded hours x

Now, you should be able to claim 15h free childcare and in Feb ( effective from April) you will have 30 h free childcare. To be honest, I cannot wait!:)
