Pregnancy vitamin recommendations

I have been taking the Pregnacare max vitamins which contains a tablet for omega 3. Whenever I take it i find that it repeats on me all day long. I’ve tried having it before and with food but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I really cannot stand that fish oil taste repeating on me. Has anyone else had this issue? Any recommendations of good pregnancy vitamins?

Aren’t you only meant to take them up to 12 weeks anyway? I never took any with my son and I’ve not took them this time😂 everything’s been fine the only thing ive taken is folic acid for a couple of weeks because I had a 4 month supply for a folate deficiency

I take same pregnacare max and I feel same. It makes me feel like I’m more sick. Yesterday I took just folic acid and I didn’t feel terrible like how the other makes me feel

I take proceive and have had no issues with them.

@Natalya the midwife said that I should be taking pregnancy vitamins throughout the pregnancy

@JENNIFER yep the sickness is just awful

@Meena personally I’ve never taken them got recommend it with my son and my midwife said up to 12 weeks but I’ve had hypermesis both times and they never stayed down so I never took them. My son’s perfectly fine there’s nothing wrong with him he’s 15 months now.

Asda pregnancy vitamins are a lot cheaper than big brands but don't think it has fish oil. I have separate omega 3 tablets

I’ve just been taken what the midwife gave me which was pregnacare original and it doesn’t have fish oil they gave me some more yesterday which just looked like basic pregnancy vitamins. Not sure of brand. Just a white tub with green lid. Both have been fine x

I have found that if I have mine before bed I don’t feel as sick with them as I do when I take them through the day.

I’ve bought some Bassetts ones, they are a chewy gummy that has everything in plus omega 3 & you can’t taste the fish at all. I got mine from Amazon. Superdrug do buy one get the 2nd half price. This maybe an option for you.
