School starter

So when do our babies start full time school because I’m so confused by it?? My daughter already goes to a private nursery, which we will keep her in until she goes to ‘proper’ school, she won’t be going to a school nursery.. is it September 2026?🤯

September 2026🥴 they’re going to be in that preschool room a long time😅

Yes, September 2026 and they will turn 5 almost immediately! Some of the oldest in the year.

Amazing thank you both! Currently pregnant with baby no.2 so trying to work out the financial side of childcare however at least they’ll both get 30hrs funded 🥲 xx

Ah I’m the same. When I realised it would be an extra year of childcare 💀💀 and both will be in at the same time!

@Louise paying for both wouldn’t even be as much as what we currently pay now for 1 🫣😂 roll on January when the 30hrs comes in for my daughter!xx

You apply from September 2025 to January 2026 for the choice of school you want and then they start September 2026

@Shannon I am in the same sitch (9 weeks off baby number 2) and all I keep thinking is at least it’s only ONE year of overlap, for paying for the two at nursery 😂
