Hey mums , I’m on universal credit but starting a PT job in a few weeks Do I apply for the 85% from UC or 15 hours. I’m I eligible for the 15 hours and 85% from UC ?

you don’t have to apply, when you pay ur childcare fees report it to universal credit & upload an invoice - sometimes they request you to upload bank statements universal credit how much childcare costs you are entitled to, remember its UP TO 85% not literally 85% so depending on ur earnings the amount you get will differ if you work and earn less that 100k then yes you are entitled to 15 hours free too

You was supposed to Apply for childcare code for 15 hours free the deadline was August 31st but if you are paying the childcare fees then follow @Kya’s steps

@Mama Kiki🇹🇹 yes that’s correct she won’t be eligible for the 15 hours yet as shes missed the cut off date for this term
