Day before school run

Good luck. I got up at 6AM, most of the stuff was ready but I was anxious. I needed to help my Son shower etc and been waiting for his bus to come, he was ready almost an hour ago. So he is not happy but seems they changed the pick up time.

@Salma thank you. 😊 oh no but on a plus your son was ready on time 😊 as I was always told its better to be ready early rather than late. I'm always mega early for everything lol. To be honest I'm anxious for both boys new for both middle child 6th form youngest child new school. So new routines for all

Oh bless them. Mine not going anywhere new for now. I prefer to be early as it fits my schedule better with other things I need to attend or get done. My daughter going on Thursday, I really hate a 2 day week 😑 😒 it feels pointless but they put all the inset days this week. I can't say I am excited to do school run lol

@Salma my middle lad still same school just 6th form. My youngest going to a sen school. So I'm nervous but I know he will thrive. Oh yeah I don't understand the 2 day weeks. I'll be honest I'll be glad to get back into routine

They should be OK, don't worry too much, he will adapt, as long as his needs are met and that allows him to thrive is the main thing. My oldest also goes to SEN School. He is doing a lot better than he was at mainstream.

@Salma I think I'm the nervous 1 lol we went to an open afternoon and he had so much fun. Oh I know he will thrive at his new school his class is lovely and teacher are really reassuring 😊

Totally normal to be nervous x I was panicking this morning, foe a moment I though the Travel Assistance bus wasn't coming waited 45 mins

@Salma I didn't have a clue how his new school worked with dropping off. But once I've donecitva few times I'll be fine. My lad went in bouncing. Which is always a good sign 😊

Aaw bless his heart. That's good to hear. I was worried mine wouldn't go in the bus because they change dhis driver and assistant but he at least recognised the bus and went both days without an issue. I am exhausted, no sleep last night and had to get out of bed at 6AM to sort everything for my Son. Tomorrow my daughter goes back so going to be even more hectic

@Salma I was told he's tired today lol. He's is tired but is covered in glitter 😂 but he says hes done nothing lol. So a good first week. That's good your lad went on his bus without any issues. Oh I understand I'm shattered to I'm having to get up earlier. I'm glad it's the weekend. Lol

Oh no, I banned glitter and lego in my house lol. My daughter has been playing in sandpit at school and wis covered in it, her shoes, the amount that came out of it lol 😆 she ruined her jumper (school logo expensive one) on first day Thursday which I have washed so just hoping the stains come off. My Son's clothes today came stained but it's fine as he has been wearing since Tuesday anyway

I don't do glitter this was at school lol 🙃 he's been there 3 days and both jumpers need washing 😅. I can't give my lad legs. He chews everything. Hope you sort the your daughters jumper.

@Hayley just waiting for it to dry. If it doesn't come out she will wear the supermarket ones for this whole year lol. I have allergies and can't use most detergents, even vinegar and fairy makes me itch like crazy. Yes School allows the glitter etc. Many times I have washed my Son and still it won't all go hahaha stays for like a whole month keep seeing glitter. My Son luckily didn't ruin his jumper, only t-shirt and joggers which is fine. They have enough clothing ironed to last the month but all depends on how often they mess them up.

@Salma I don't blame you with supermarket jumpers. Oh I understand that both my older kids have certain reactions to certain wash powder or fabric softners. Yeah there's alot of blue glitter in the bath lol 😆 I always get extra uniform just incase but it's normally shoes we go through
