Primary Scool Applications

For my area it's the November of the academic year they turn 4, so it will be next November for my little boy. I may differ for where you are, I'd Google it as admissions go through your local council x

For me it’s January 2026 he’s start August 2026 (north Lanarkshire, Scotland)

@Chelsea @Sophie Where did you find that information? I have looked on local council but can't see anything about children born from sept 2021

I just wrote when do I apply for my child going in p1 Scotland north Lanarkshire council, change out the Scotland & council for your own and it should tell you

If you're in England, applications will be from November 2025 for our September 2021 babies x

Our is from Sept but we have until January. Schools haven't started doing open days for us tho so I'm going to wait until they start. One said October.

They are all only just starting nursery 😂 don't want to be thinking that far ahead 😵😵‍💫

@gabi I know same here cant even face the thought of her going to nursery/preschool let alone primary school 🙈

@Kate feels like it's all just going way too fast. It's really not fair tbh 🙈 my girl starts nursery next month. Still can't wrap my head around it 🙃🙈
