Starting nursery

My little one had 2 settling in sessions last week and she did great. I fully expected them to tell me she hadn’t napped and she did - they should ask you how you tend to get her to sleep and then they will do the same! This is what they did at the nursery my little one is starting x

My LB had taster day at his child minders last week and he loved it so much. He hasn’t napped there yet as was there for 2 hours but they asked us what we did at home etc xx

My little dudes nursery had him do 2 weeks of settling sessions which i thought was a bit ott but its been great!. The first week he did mornings would include usual nap time and lunch and he had no issues. I had to fill in an about me questionnaire which said how he normally goes down and they follow that and his cues. The following week were Afternoon sessions he didn't nap there but was so exhausted from play he slept all the way home. When he starts the full days next week I think it'll be better because if anything he'll develop a bit of a new routine in line with their lunch times etc which I can then keep to the rest of the week. X

Nope. Will not be attending nursery until January. He will be 15 months.

My little boy has been going to nursery since the beginning of June. Three full days 8-6 and absolutely thrives there. Has two naps a day, 3 solid meals, comes home tired and sleeps like a trooper. He goes in with a smile and comes home with a smile. Try not to worry too much, they usually copy the other babies and settle quickly
