UTI
What were your symptoms and did the GP test for it?
I’m a big stingy when I use the toilet so not sure if UTI or if it’s just being 39 weeks pregnant.
I don’t want them to prescribe anything without testing first as I don’t want to take anything necessarily

You can ask the midwife as they usually do an urine test every time you speak to them and it should show signs of uti. It doesn’t always have symptoms in pregnancy, but can be dangerous so anytime you have one it is best to test and get antibiotics that are suitable for it.
They wouldn’t prescribe something without testing and finding something
