Headache

I have a pounding headache and have been taking Tylenol around the clock and it’s not helping. Anyone recommend anything?!

I get constant migraines and Tylenol doesn’t help anymore. You can switch between a hot pad and ice pack and down water

There’s a chance that it could be a rebound headache. Have you tried Excedrin before? If not, maybe give that a go.

When I get bad headaches, cold water helps, or cold stuff. Putting a cold water bottle on my head or something cold helps my headaches.

@Molly she can't if she is pregnant

Sadly all you can take is Tylenol. Try heat on your neck and ice pack on your head. If it gets too bad I would call nurse line

Correct @Lindsey

Mention it to your doctor at your next appointment! They might have some suggestions.

Are you pregnant? It can be a sign of pre eclampsia, I would call your midwife asap and go in for testing

Yes I’m 17 weeks and not much to take or do for it 😔

You should try drinking electrolytes!!

@Ellen id have to agree with you. I was going to ask how far long she is in her pregnancy. Due to the lasting headaches with the Tylenol not helping my provider has recommended I contact him as that is a sign of preeclampsia and should be seen immediately. I am 27wks pregnant, I am on BP pills as well as baby aspirin. I'm considered high risk sadly but yes talk to an on call nurse cause they may want to see you to rule out preeclampsia

Ice pack for n the head helps my migraines, also feet in hot water tub while draw blood away from brain and alleviate pressure

Maybe magnesium??

call your ob! they’ll have a “migraine cocktail” and suggest taking a mixture of things that are safe during pregnancy. i suffered from severe headaches, couldn’t eat. i wish i remember what was all in it, i know tylenol, magnesium, sudafed and maybe some other things and swallow them with a coke or caffeine.
