Nursery

How have people found the nursery process? I’m not due till October and plan to go back after 9 months maternity, but I’ve seen some people have started applying already as spaces are filling? Just seems strange to apply when they’re not even here yet 🤣

I applied in February and my little one only has a place to start next January, definitely enquire if there is a particular nursery you are after x

I couldn't get the nursery I wanted as it was full maybe when little one is here have a look around places x

We're in Atherton, my boy starts nursery this week but we didn't apply until March just gone. They did say though that there wasn't many spaces left. It would do no harm to look into them now if you do have a nursery in mind just incase it's a popular one

Applied last November before baby was born. Starts this November. The nursery she is going to is now full even for January intake. Get applying for the nursery you want now.

Apply asap. I'm due next week and applied in April 😂

It’s like lots of things. You can apply now or just see what happens. We went with a childminder and found so many booked up a year in advance. But we did find a fantastic one despite some panic. x

I am in Leigh and we had to register last April 2023 when I was 15 weeks pregnant to get a place for November 2024. That was before all the new free hours came out but it’s an outstanding nursery.
