Be more specific. How far is the drive? Is it one child? What are the days and hours? Will you need your vehicle (going to the playground or community activities).? What certifications and/or degree (regarding children) do you have? This can help raise prices. What are the parents expecting of you (cooking for child? Cleaning the home?) How many years have you been doing this..2 years vs 12 years is for sure a different price tag Talk about late arrival compensation. Just because it’s the parent’s home…they better not be late if THEY said you work from 7am-3pm and now it’s 3:30PM. Do you speak multiple languages or know ASL? This would again increase your pay.
