Home alone all day

Does anyone else struggle with solo parenting all day? And I mean from wake up to bedtime. I want to relax during the rare naps we get during the day but just can’t. Family and friends don’t check in. Just feels very lonely

I try to get out everyday even if it’s a long walk or seeing someone. I’d loose my mind if I was sat at home all day x

Can you ask your friends/family to be a bit more present and say you’re struggling? x

I walk the dog every day at least once, that helps loads compared to the occasion days I just can’t. I also FaceTime my family a lot 🤣 my sister had a baby 6weeks before me so she’s always available for a call. Me and my baby will take trips to a cafe for a coffee or go to pets at home and look at the fish too ☺️

Yes, struggling a lot at the moment. It's not so much the baby though, more my 3 year old who is very full on at the moment! I totally get you though, my partner is out at work for 13+ hours each shift and it's longgggg

Yep it’s a struggle and very lonely so I definitely get out everyday. It’ll be a walk, going to my mums where my two sisters live, going to baby groups, go walking at the mall, go to a coffee shop, trying to set up meets with friends. A friend floated the idea of returning to work early around the 9 month mark. I may consider if it gets too lonely

Yes my partner is military so away overnight every other week and I’m 2 hours from friends & family. I’ve met lots of local mums via classes but I struggle most in the evenings when I’m tired and everyone else is having family time whilst I’m alone. Throw in 4 month regression I’m dreading next week how I’m going to get through!!
