Nursery settle in… 🥺💔😭

My boy just went in for 45 minutes and he was upset most of the time 🥺😭 it’s all new and he needs to adjust.. it’s just heartbreaking causing that! I know he’ll love it soon, but it’s been really hard 😔

I remember this when my oldest started. I would drop him off and I'd hear him screaming even as I was walking away from the building. It was heartbreaking. But it was so good for him, he progressed so much, hes made some lovely friends and now loves every second of it. It'll be hard for a while but he'll get used to it and grow to enjoy his time there. Sending love to you, I understand how difficult it is and I'm not looking forward to it this time around.

I am terrified of this. I don't let my LO cry ever for any reason, if I can help it. Not sure how anything will pry me away from her if she cries which...she probably will.

I know it’s the hardest thing 💔🥺 but we can do it!! We need to be strong for them 💪🏼❤️

Ah I’m literally going through this exact thing! My 8 month old triplets have been for 2 x1 hour sessions this week - 2 were asleep both times I went in to pick them up and the other was crying and had been the whole time after I had left. It truly is heartbreaking. He’s the cheekiest, happiest boy and I know he will end up loving it but I can’t cope knowing he’s just crying the whole time after I’ve left 😭😭

My LO is due to start in 3 weeks, so I hear you!! Yet to do settling in sessions 🙂🙂 however! Just know that when you can hear them crying or get told that they were upset, they wouldn’t have been left alone crying. They’ll be holding/ interacting with them, playing with. I’m half dreading it but also KNOW she’ll absolutely love it. Give it time I’m sure he’ll be smiling and enjoying in no time
