Nursery

we’re not going into nursery until the free 30 hours comes in next year but the nursery we are enrolled in is £75 a full day x

My LG is 2 full days and with the funding, her monthly fees are now around £223 down from £468. We also use Tax Free Childcare which saves us an additional 20%. It all depends on whether your nursery is going to spread the hours across the full year, or use them term time only 😊. Personally, I would contact the nursery and they'll be able to talk you through it x

@Sarah I had no idea it’s going up to 30hrs from next year, that’s really good! I have just googled it😂 I’m not due til Jan so by the time she goes to nursery we will get 30 free hours. I was really stressing about nursery fees but that’s made me feel much better😅 xx

@Sara i know it’s wild how expensive it can get! so im just using the 30 free hours for 2x days 08:30-15:30 and then its just £20 a month for food or you can take a packed lunch - mine only does term time though but we did look at an alternative nursery that spread the hours across the whole year x
