When to apply for schools
Its quickly creeping up and I'm not sure about the process of applying for schools. Also do the schools typically do open days as I've not seen anything about them for primary other than secondary schools. Is it a case of ringing and asking for a look around one random midweek day? Thanks

You can go in for random days or they usually hold them middle to end of September! I think we apply in January if memory serves me correct xx
Normally 1 Septemberto 15 January
15th January is the deadline and apply via your council website, mines open for applications now x
Just so you know incase you are panicking, when you apply has no effect on the decision, so take your time
@Kath this is true IF you apply before 15th January Once the 15th rolls in any made after are treated as late applicants and looked at after the initial applicants have been allocated lowering your chance of first choice school :)

They open normally around September and close in January (normally around the 15th!) for admissions Some primary schools do open days some don’t some you need to ask for a look around and they sort a date etc
