Fluoride

Doctor prescribed fluoride multivitamins for my 6 month old, but I’ve heard bad things about it. Can anyone provide some resources?

fluoride causes holes in our teeth, it’s no longer sodium fluoride that they’re putting in the minerals and water and shit I can pull up the reference link for you

Why does your baby need them? I havnt tried the gummies but we use the toothpaste for our kids

Too much fluoride is bad but just a little bit that you use in toothpaste is definitely not bad for your and it helps your teeth

That sounds cray to me! I’ve never heard a baby that young being prescribed fluoride. In fact my kids dentist told us to wait until a year or so before we started using a toothpaste containing fluoride. We use fluoride free toothpaste regardless because fluoride (from my understanding) is a neurotoxin and really unnecessary for oral/teeth hygiene and health. When the time comes for you to begin brushing baby’s teeth, I would recommend a toothpaste that has hydroxyapatite - it is great for remineralization! Boka kids and Rise Well kids are two great brands that use that in their formula! ❣️

What multivitamin contains fluoride?! I would change physicians immediately.

Fluoride is also antibacterial so messes with oral microbiome (when in toothpaste) and I'd imagine gut microbiome if swallowed. Also a neurotoxin. I feel really lucky that we don't have fluoride in our water where we live.

Whaaaaat??? That’s very odd and I’d be questioning everything this doc says. Fluoride isn’t even in baby toothpaste. Fluoride calcifies the pineal gland in the brain which (especially in developing brains) can severely affect melatonin production which then creates a whole heap of sleep and hormonal issues for baby. I’d absolutely avoid that at all costs. There is ZERO reason we need fluoride. Eventually there are things to do for teeth, even xylitol is better in toothpaste.

Absolutely NOT! Fluoride is a KNOW neurotoxin. Read all the medical studies yourself. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/?term=Fluoride

Hell to the nooooooo! Use xylitol candies which are sugarless and help prevent cavities naturally! Sparx on amazon!

Definitely don’t … that is awful for you find an alternative
