I am a stay at home mom. There’s none that are walking distance which would be necessary except that one. I do little learning activities here and there but hadn’t thought about buying a curriculum I’ll look into that. Might be better. Thanks so much!
Call the district some usually have scholarships for families with limited resources
There should be one public school in your city that offers free preschool. We didn’t have to drive too far to get to ours. The school he actually goes to now is faster paced and I think the preschool helped. They have to know quite a bit before going into kindergarten. If you stay at home with your kids, there’s a bunch of stuff you can do instead. I’m a SAHM now and just print my own activity sheets and set my own curriculum. You can even buy an entire premade pre-k curriculum for the whole year that you can use for multiple kids for like $100-200 if you want. When I was working I sent mine to both public and a pre-k I had to pay for. The public was far behind the private pre-k so I felt my money wasn’t wasted in that regard. If you are working and already do daycare, try switching to a daycare that is also a preschool to save money.
