Midwife appointment, can you get checked for cervix dilation.
At 40 weeks midwife appointment, can you ask them to check how many centimeters you are dilated and whether your cervix is soft without doing a sweep.

You should be able to, however there isn't really much of a benefit to knowing... ie. You could be 0cm but labour starts tonight, or you could be 2cm and stay 2cm for another week.
