Nursery!

My boys starting for the first time 5 afternoons a week and im bricking it however he definitelys ready to take this on and I guess at some point we have to let them out of our sights 😭

My little girl had her first settling in session this week. I had lots of conversation before hand about how I couldn’t stay for the session but would pick her up straight after. She’d met her key worker and I reminded her of her name over and over so she could ask for help. We read books about other children starting nursery. She loves the garden and playing with her dolls so they were the activities they asked her if she wanted to do first when she went in. She literally went in waved bye and was gone for the first hour. She’s very shy so didn’t talk much but I was shocked there was no tears. She’s not long started dancing too where she’s left, that was a more gradual process than nursery and I do wonder if it helped as she knows I come back. I know not everyday will be straightforward but I was more unprepared for how settled she was. It was lovely though. Good luck! X
