Advice on almost 3 year old behaviour!

My little boy is 3 next week, and his behaviour the last week or so is testing us to our limits! I am trying to be lenient and understanding as we are also expecting another baby in jan, so I know he senses changes etc. He is constantly refusing to do simple tasks like get dressed or eat breakfast. Will end up shouting at us. We try and make it fun, and offer a stick chart but nothing! His favourite words at the moment are “no” “I can’t” “I wont” and is tantruming over everything. The other night he screamed because he wanted ice in his water at 4am! I know he’s testing boundaries/independence and we are trying to give choices, stickers but I’m stuck now. Anyone going through similar or have any advice?

We’re in the same boat with our daughter, so many things are a challenge. Negotiate for 20 mins every time we go any where to get in her car seat which drives me nuts. Moved from cot to bed and now literally will not go to bed and passes out on the floor at some ridiculous time… with you in solidarity but I’ve not found a solution as yet I’m afraid!
